Why do foundations now have to have a name with 10 words in it??? The new Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Foundation is definitely no exception! I picked this up in the shade 5W1 Bronze to test out. As a new addition to the Double Wear line, it is supposed to give a lightweight but long lasting coverage. If you have been following my blog for awhile, you will know that this sounds right up my alley! I tested this out for you in the video below, so make sure to watch that. If you are short on time and want to quickly know what I thought of the foundation, check out my pros and cons below.
I love trying new foundations and letting you all know about them! Today, the foundation that I reviewed is the new MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation in the shade NC45. I really wanted to try this one out because it claimed to be lightweight, long wearing, and waterproof. If you would like to see how it lived up to those claims, check out the video below!
Would you like me to do some sort of foundation round-up where I talk about my foundation collection? If so, leave me a comment as to how you would like to see that done!
NARS recently released a new foundation, the All Day Luminous Weightless foundation. I decided to try it in the shade Cadiz, which is also my shade in the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. With this foundation, NARS promises full & natural looking coverage that lasts up to 16 hours. Not only that, but they also claim that the foundation will do this with only 1 drop and still have a lightweight feel on the skin. I’ve been testing this foundation out for about 2 weeks and I am ready to share my thoughts with you so if you’re interested, keep reading.
In my most recent haul, I picked up a new foundation, Lancome Nude Miracle. This foundation is a Sephora exclusive (for now at least) that promises a weightless feel and bare-matte finish. It is one of the new liquid to powder foundations that it seems like all the brands are starting to come out with. If you would like to see how it looks and find out my initial thoughts, check out the video below!
For reference, my other foundation shades are as follows:
Make Up For Ever Face & Body: 12
Smashbox Studio Skin: 4.1
Diorskin Nude: 050
NARS Sheer Glow: Cadiz
YSL Youth Liberator: B70

Brows are so essential to the face so I’m always on the hunt for the perfect brow product. Recently I had a little mishap with my brows which led me on the search for something more substantial to fill them in. That’s why I decided to try the new Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate. The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders have gotten a lot of hype in the YouTube/Beauty Blogger Community. Being a dry skin girl (kinda), I was a little leery about trying them out. Also, most of the people I saw raving about them were lighter complected, so I wasn’t sure how nice these powders would be on dark skin. So when I saw that the new limited edition Ambient Lighting Palette came out, I decided to give it a go, since it would allow me to try out multiple powders at once. This is the final post within my Highlighter/Bronzer Series! If you missed any of the previous ones, don’t worry, I will list them at the bottom of this post. I hope this series was enjoyable to you and that you got something out of it.
Today’s face is a look that I wear quite often, especially during summertime. It is relatively quick and easy and perfect for all types of occasions. Keep reading for more pictures and a step-by-step tutorial.
Quite a few of you told me you would like to see more makeup tutorials from me, but they take a long time to prepare for and film, so I decided to throw some of these Face of the Day posts in the mix. This way, you can see all the products I’m using, you just won’t actually see them in action. It also gives me a chance to express my thoughts on certain products. Let me know what you think of these types of posts. Keep reading for pictures and products!
