I’m not sure if many of you all know this, but I am a contributor to Redbook online magazine. They recently reached out to me about trying a few items so I decided to check them out. Keep reading for the low-down!
Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash: I was excited to see this in the box because I already use and love the different varieties of Dove Body Wash. Until now, I had never tried the Dry Oil Body Wash. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Just like all the other washes in this line, this one lathered well, but left my skin feeling smooth and moisturized! This body wash was thick and creamy and a little goes a long way. It kind of feels like applying lotion when using this wash. This is definitely a dry girl’s dream!
SkinFix Hand Repair Cream: SkinFix was created by a fellow pharmacist, so I knew this hand cream would probably be good! Since I wash and sanitize my hands a lot, a good hand cream is key for me. What I like about the SkinFix one is that it is really moisturizing without leaving a greasy residue. It actually has a mousse-like texture that rubs in very easily and leaves a texture that feels like a silicone based primer and doesn’t feel sticky at all. It’s hard to explain, but you should definitely try it out! Also, it has no scent so it won’t interfere with any perfumes.
Organix Bamboo Fiber-Full Hair Spray: This root spray is meant to transform thin, limp hair into voluminous hair that is full of body. I personally don’t use these types of products on my hair, because they tend to be drying on my hair (dry, coily/curly) and I can easily achieve volume using a hair pick. This product is probably good for people who have thinner and less coarse hair with oily roots. This may be a good option in between shampoos or when you are looking to get some quick body. Another plus is that this product isn’t expensive and is easily accessible at the drugstore.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them?
