Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Summer

The warmer temperatures of Summer always make me want to try out different bronzers and/or shimmer products for the face and body! Something about the season just makes me want to glow (even more so than usual)! Hence, my newest beauty purchase, the Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Summer. Keep reading for more!

Ever since the new NARS Laguna Liquid Bronzer launched, I have wanted to try out a liquid bronzer. The NARS one was too light for my skin tone so I didn’t waste my money on that. I ended up coming across the Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Summer and I was intrigued because they appeared to have a shade that would work for me! We all know that anything with the Armani name is expensive, so when I saw that they were having a 20% off sale on their website, I jumped on it. I picked it up in the darkest shade, 110 Sun Bath.

So I must admit, this was definitely an impulse buy, but thankfully, I love it! Although this was expensive, the bottle will last forever because only a small amount of product is needed to bronze my entire face!

The way that I use Liquid Summer is by dropping a tiny amount of product on the back of my hand. I then use either my finger or a small stippling brush to apply to my face in the areas I want to bronze. This product blends like a dream! The first time that I tried it, I applied waaaaaay too much, but since it blends so well, I was able to recover without having to wash off my entire face! I’ve also used it with a Beauty Blender, and it works well to blend the product, but I don’t like to apply it with the Beauty Blender because the high pigment stains my Beauty Blender.

Me after wearing the bronzer for about 12 hours!

One thing that you should know aboutΒ this product is that it sets pretty quickly so if you apply it, you should immediately blend it out. Once this product sets, it doesn’t move! Even after a long day of of work, at the end of the night Liquid Summer is still visible on my skin and doesn’t transfer when I touch it. Because it is so transfer-resistant, I think it will make an awesome body bronzer too (haven’t used it like that yet).

As you may be able to see, Liquid Summer has a small amount of shimmer to it, but when blended on the face, it is undetectable. Instead of seeing shimmer or glitter on the face, all you see is radiance! I actually think this would also work well to darken up a foundation that may be too light.

I love the Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Summer and I can’t wait to use it in a variety of ways this summer!

Have you tried any liquid bronzers? What’s your take on them?
