ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick Overview & Swatches

Colourpop recently added a new product to their line, the Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. These lipsticks are right on trend with the rest of the beauty industry right now. They go on as a liquid, but dry to a very matte opaque lip. They are also cheaper than most of their counterparts at only $6 each. I picked up 10 of these to test out for you all. Keep reading to see how they fared!

For lip swatches, make sure to watch my video below! I really feel like lip swatches give a better idea of how these shades will work on you if your skin tone is similar to mine.

The ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks are available in 25 shades. I’m really happy with the shades that I chose. I think that this liquid lipstick is similar to others in that it dries to a very matte long lasting finish. These stay put all day long even thought light eating and drinking. Most shades apply pretty nicely, but some of the shades are slightly patchy (Highball, Ouiji, Pacific). I found that the best way for me to apply these is by making sure the applicator is filled with product and then quickly applying to the lips. I then use my ring finger to blend the shade before it dries. I don’t find that these can be layered because they get cakey and heavy feeling with more than one layer. My favorite shade so far is Drive-In, a bright magenta. Overall, I think these are great for only $6.

Currently all shades of this product are sold out, but they will be restocked in early August on the ColourPop website!

Have you or will you be picking up any of the ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks?
