Dior Nude Air Serum Foundation First Impression

I’m finally back with another beauty post! If you have followed my blog for awhile, I’m sure you know that foundation is one of my favorite makeup items to test out. The Dior Diorskin Nude Air Serum Foundation* was recently released and it caught my eye so I decided to try it out for you. So far, the only Dior foundation that I’ve tried is the Dior Diorskin Nude Foundation, and that is one of my very favorite foundations so I figured that this one would probably work well for me too. I picked up this foundation in the same shade, 050 Dark Beige. Keep reading if you would like to see what I thought as a first impression on this foundation!

So far, I really like this foundation and think it will be great as an everyday foundation for me and many others with dry, normal, or combination skin. If you have oily skin, you still may want to try this if you are willing to set it with a powder.

Pros:

  • lightweight feel
  • light to medium coverage
  • relatively long wearing
  • natural satin finish
  • will work well for most skin types since it is not drying and will not necessarily make you oily

Cons:

  • price ($53)
  • small shade range

Have you tried any of the serum foundations on the market? If so, what’s your favorite?

I’ve tested this foundation out too. I’m usually shade dark beige but I found it a little too reddish and dark in the nude air serum range.
This foundation is too expensive to buy a lighter one to mix with so I still don’t know if I’ll keep it or not.

I know what you mean about it being a little too red. I think it still works for me now, but will be better once I get a little darker. Maybe you can get a sample of a lighter shade and mix that sparingly. 😉
