Benefit’s They’re Real mascara has been out for over a year and has been all the rage since it came out. I’m just getting around to trying a deluxe sample that I got in a birthday gift from Sephora last year. Keep reading to see if this product lived up to the hype for me!

They’re Real promises to deliver so much length and volume that people will wonder if you are wearing false lashes. So, does it live up to that? For me, YES! I was shocked at how this mascara makes my lashes look so good! It’s definitely a mascara better reserved for more dramatic makeup looks, but I can make it work for day if I only use one coat. My only gripe is that the formula is a little wet so I have to carefully apply it to avoid getting it on my lids. However, the look it gives me makes it worth it!

This product is a hit for me! After I use up this sample I will definitely buy another!

Have you tried They’re Real? Did it live up to the hype for you?

I have also had this trial size for a hot minute but never wore it. I used it tonight after reading your post but I have to get used to the brush. Thanks for sharing.

I love they’re real. Definitely a fave mascara. I first tried it on a whim Christmas of 2012 when my aunt bought it to try and it came with a mini size, she gave that one to me I fell in love. I’m trying the butterfly effect now after hearing all the hype hope it lives up to it. I want to try that YSL you’ve mentioned recently in posts.
