Weekly Hit or Miss: New Revlon Powder Blushes

Revlon Blushes in Classy Coral & Wine Not

Revlon Blushes in Classy Coral & Wine Not

Revlon has a new display showing up drugstores everywhere that features new blushes, bronzers, and highlighters. One of the products that I decided to try were the blushes because they looked so pigmented like high end blushes. Keep reading to see how they performed!

As far as drugstore blush goes, they usually don’t work well for me either because they lack pigmentation or the color choices don’t suit my skin tone. In this case, I think the picture below will speak louder than my words…

These blushes are definitely not well pigmented! Keep in mind that in order for me to get these swatches to show up well in the picture, that I had to build it up with at least 3 layers. Even after all those layers, they are not impressive. I was so excited for Classy Coral, but it was way too light for me and makes me look ashy. I have been able to wear Wine Not a few times, and it looked pretty good initially, but the lasting power was poor. These blushes may look okay on women with lighter skin tones, but I still don’t think they are worth the $7-$10 dollars they cost.

Unfortunately, this was another miss for me!

Have you tried any of the new Revlon cheek products? What did you think?

I have Wine-y not and I love it! Its stays on me all day. I always get compliments when I wear it. On me it last just as long as my Tarte or Lorac blushes. I am a dry girl so maybe that helps.
