Today’s post is featuring a brand new product, the NARS Satin Lip Pencils. These jumbo pencils glide on like a creamy lipstick, but with the convenience of a pencil. They provide a satin finish that does not look too shiny like some of the glossy jumbo pencils. I was interested in trying these because of my love for the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils. I decided to try 2 shades, Yu & Lodhi. Yu is described as a “shocking pink,” while Lodhi is described as a “vibrant coral.”  So far, Lodhi is my favorite of the two because it is bright, but can be easily toned down. I’ve even worn this one to work.

I love both of these shades. Lodhi is similar in color to MAC’s Betty Bright (limited edition) so if you were not able to get your hands on that one, you may like Lodhi. Yu is very similar to MAC’s Girl About Town, but is slightly brighter.

Overall, I really like these new Satin Lip Pencils. They are just as vibrant and creamy as a lipstick, but have the convenience of a pencil. They are also relatively long lasting, they lasted about 4 hours on me. As of right now, the Satin Lip Pencils are only available on the NARS website and Nordstrom for $25 each.

Will you be trying the new NARS Satin Lip Pencils?

I love coral lips as well! I have a lipstick by Cover Girl Queen Collection called, South Beach Sand. I think I may get something new and try the Lodhi lip pencil. Thanks for the review!!!
