One of my favorite types of beauty videos to watch on YouTube is monthly favorites. I just like to see what products other people are obsessing over. Even though people do them almost every single month, I don’t get tired of them, so I decided to incorporate these types of videos into my blog and YouTube channel. Enjoy!
Doesn’t this shade scream sunshine! I like the way this color turned out. I have been really into green nail polish lately, so I decided to pick this one up when Walgreens was having a sale. I’m glad I did. This is a bright, summertime, grassy green that I think would look great on a large variety of skintones. The formula was very nice and really didn’t even need 2 coats. I did 2 anyway because I always do, but it is still nice to not have to. I was never really into Revlon nail polish, but they are really starting to impress me.
Have you stepped out into the green nail polish world? Which ones are your favorites? Any other Revlon shades that you think I should try?
The new Heavenly Creatures limited edition collection from MAC is now available online. It will be available in stores on July 5th. This collection is composed of 4 lipsticks, 4 creamsheen glasses, 4 mineralized skinfinishes, 4 mineralized blushes, and 9 mineralized eyeshadows. This large collection has a gorgeous galaxy type design in all of the powder products.
I only purchased 3 products from this collection: Supernova mineralized blush, Earthshine mineralized skinfinish, and Star Wonder mineralized skin finish. If you would like to see swatches of the entire collection, visit Temptalia’s blog. This is not a review, I just wanted to share some swatches so you can see how these look on my skintone. For reference, I am around a NC45 foundation shade in MAC. Enjoy!
Orange and coral lip shades have quickly become my favorite color family. These colors are flattering on all skin tones, but I think even more so on women of color. Check out my video below describing some of my favorite picks. Enjoy!

Let me start this out by saying that I am not usually into drugstore foundations. I usually use higher end foundations because I don’t mind paying more for what I put on my face. Secondly, I don’t like not being able to try on foundation before buying it. Thirdly, I have trouble finding darker shades at the drugstore. All that changed when I saw this foundation!
Today’s manicure features Revlon Dreamer as a base and Essie Set in Stones on top as an accent. Revlon Dreamer is a gorgeous pastel periwinkle color. When i purchased this shade last week, I was planning on getting Essie’s Lapis of Luxury, but i saw that this color was very similar and I decided to try it instead. Revlon runs for about $5 while Essie is about $8. This shade was slightly watery which made it messy to apply, but the color was opaque. The wear time is pretty good. I was able to keep it on 3 days without it chipping. 3 days is good for me because my work is hard on my hands.
I love the way this turned out. What do you think?
Hey! I always get questions about my hair routine so I decided to post a video showing exactly what I do (on most days). Feel free to ask questions and share your daily routine. Enjoy!
