Guess what I broke down and got! Yep, the new NARS blush palettes that are apart of the Pierre Hardy collection!
A couple of weeks ago, I did a post on Essie’s First Timer nail polish from their Resort Collection. Today’s nails are also from that same collection, but this one is called In the Cab-ana. Excuse my poor paint job, I was rushing. Poor paint job aside, isn’t this a gorgeous color! It is like a cross between aqua and turquoise blue. I don’t have any other colors like this in my collection. This shade makes me want to lie out on a tropical island with my hubby, a good book, and a Mai-Tai. (Isn’t that what summer’s all about?) This shade also lasted about 3 work days on me without chipping (which for me is saying a lot).
What’s nail polish reminds you of summer?
E.L.F. products can be extremely hit or miss for me, especially their eyeshadows. If you have ever purchased one of their 100 pan eyeshadow palettes, then I’m sure you know what I mean. Recently, they released these new baked eyeshadows and blushes. I saw the shadows in Target, so I decided to pick up 2 to try out. Keep reading for my thoughts on them!
As of today it has been 1 year that SimpleBeautyBlog.com has been up and running. Thank you all so much for sticking by me! I plan on making this next year even better!
As promised, I answered the questions that you all wanted answered in the form of a video. Make sure to open this video up in YouTube and watch in HD. Check it out below!
Who says you can’t wear red lips during the day? Don’t listen to them. Red lipstick can make otherwise boring makeup pop. If you would like to know my tips on how to keep it casual and rock a red lip, then keep reading!
I know I have done a lot of videos lately, but I haven’t forgotten about regular posts. You will definitely see at least 1 regular post next week! For now, enjoy my May Favorites if you please!
