NARS recently released a new foundation, the All Day Luminous Weightless foundation. I decided to try it in the shade Cadiz, which is also my shade in the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. With this foundation, NARS promises full & natural looking coverage that lasts up to 16 hours. Not only that, but they also claim that the foundation will do this with only 1 drop and still have a lightweight feel on the skin. I’ve been testing this foundation out for about 2 weeks and I am ready to share my thoughts with you so if you’re interested, keep reading.
I don’t know what it is, but every time I plan to do blog posts, something happens. This time, I have a few beauty blog posts/videos that I really want to get done, but I unfortunately I came down with a cold. With the way I felt, I didn’t want to get out of the bed or off the couch for the last week, let alone do a video! Today, I feel much better even though I still have some coughing going on. Instead of doing the beauty posts that I had planned, I decided to share with you my latest Louis Vuitton purchases. The video below shows the unboxing and gives information on the products that I purchased, but also gives you a chance to see my baby bump. If you just want to see a couple of pictures, keep scrolling down past the video!
Sephora recently released a new foundation, the Teint Infusion Foundation. As soon as I saw it, I knew that it was supposed to be similar to the recent liquid to powder foundations that a few high end brands have been releasing lately (i.e. YSL Fusion Ink, Lancome Nude Miracle, etc.). The one that I have tried and liked as been the Lancome Nude Miracle Foundation so I wanted to see how this new Sephora foundation measured up. If you’re interested in hearing my thoughts, watch the video below!
Have you tried any of the new liquid to powder, barely-there foundations? If so, what is your favorite?
If you regularly keep up with the beauty blogs, you may have heard about the new Modernist Eyeshadow Palettes that Hourglass released. These beautiful palettes are now available in 7 varieties and I decided to try out the Obscura version. I haven’t had a chance to play around with this palette yet, but I know this will be a hot item, so I wanted to get out some swatches for you in case you’re interested in ordering.
Every year, Sephora teams up with the color experts, Pantone, to create beauty products featuring the Color of the Year. The Color of the Year for 2015 is Marsala, “an earthy red wine”. When I saw the collection they were coming out with, I was immediately drawn to the nude lip collection pictured above. Keep reading to see if the Marsala Layering Lip Collection lived up to my expectations.
Happy New Year! I hope your 2015 is going great so far! 2014 was an awesome year for me and I am sure that 2015 is going to be even greater! Not only was 2014 great for me personally, but I also discovered some great beauty products. If you would like to see my favorite products over the last year, check out my super long video below!
What was your favorite beauty product this year?
Merry Christmas!!! Long time, no see! I’ve missed posting, but as you all may have guessed, the little free time that I have is usually devoted to looking at baby stuff! Anyway, I made a video showing my home decor for Christmas. I know its a little late for this video, but I wanted to post it anyway because it may give you some ideas on things you may want to pick up during the after Christmas sales. Plus, I personally love watching any type of home decor or house tour videos, so I figured I would add one to the mix. Please keep in mind that my house is still a work in progress so it may look a bit bare. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy this little peek into my home!
Do you go all out for Christmas decorations or do you keep it simple like me?
In my most recent haul, I picked up a new foundation, Lancome Nude Miracle. This foundation is a Sephora exclusive (for now at least) that promises a weightless feel and bare-matte finish. It is one of the new liquid to powder foundations that it seems like all the brands are starting to come out with. If you would like to see how it looks and find out my initial thoughts, check out the video below!
